This error occurs when the Fiscal year beginning
date on Form CIT-1 doesn't match the tax year for the return.

1050C: Form CIT-1, 6a. Tax year beginning date must match tax year.

Update the Fiscal year beginning
date so that it's the same year as the tax year for the return.

note

For example, for a tax year 2025 locator, the fiscal year beginning date has to be in 2025.

Do a full recompute, then recreate the e-file.
