Error: Field ‘TotalApplied’ is unexpected

This error occurs when e-filing a New Mexico 1120 SchCITCR form without the required CreditDetails information.

Solution

  1. Go to
    Organizer
    States
    New Mexico
    Credits
    .
  2. Contact the state to determine the correct Credit Code and approval number.
  3. Enter an approval number and a Credit Code in the Credits section.
  4. Complete all columns in the Credits section, whether you enter
    NONE
    or an actual amount.
  5. Verify that CIT-CR Page 1 is attached. The New Mexico schema requires it.
  6. Do a full recompute, then recreate the e-file.
