Error: The attribute 'claimed' with value '0', data is missing

You get this error when you don't complete the electronic signature authorization and direct debit information required for the New York e-file.

Solution

  1. Go to
    Organizer
    States
    New York
    E-file
    Additional Information
    .
  2. Select the
    Electronic Signature Check-Off
    link. On the next screen, mark the checkbox.
  3. Go to
    Organizer
    States
    Common State
    General Information
    Bank Information
    Direct Debit
    tab.
  4. Complete columns C, D, F, G, K, and L. In column K, enter the date to be debited for New York.
  5. Run a full recompute and recreate the New York e-file.
