Form 05-166 accounting year begin and end dates e-file error
Form 05-166: Accounting year begin and end dates for each affiliate must be within the accounting year begin and end dates of the primary report. (Automatic GOTO is not available.)
Solution
- Go toOrganizer,State Franchise Tax,Texas Franchise,Combined Return Information, and thenReporting Entity.
- Review the entries for accounting year begin and end date. These must be the same as the Form 05-158, which you can find inTax Forms,States,Texas, 05-158,Franchise Tax Report,05-158A, Franchise Tax Report, P1,Dates.
- Perform a full recompute, recreate the e-file, and submit.
