This validation error occurs when multiple PDF files are attached to a Virginia Form 500 return. Virginia only lets you attach 1 PDF per return.

Solution
Virginia only lets you attach 1 PDF to the state return.
- Go to .
- Combine all PDF files into 1 PDF file and attach only the combined PDF file for Virginia.
- Make sure the file name and description have the same name.
- Remove any attachments that aren't required to qualify the return.
- Do a full recompute, then recreate the e-file.
