Error: The field 'FEIN' with value ‘[EIN]’ data is missing

This validation error occurs on West Virginia Schedule NOL when the
FEIN of Consolidated Parent Corporation
field is missing or contains an invalid value.

Solution

  1. Go to

    Net Operating Loss
    [DATE]
    Schedule NOL Section
    .
  2. Enter the
    FEIN of Consolidated Parent Corporation
    .

    The FEIN has to be a 9-digit number.
  3. Do a full recompute, then recreate the e-file.
