Federal tax elections overview

Federal tax elections are selections regarding tax treatment. Use the Federal Tax Elections
folder to include an election in the return.

There's 3 methods available when using elections.

Predefined Elections:
These are elections already included in the system.

Account Defined Elections:
Set up and add these elections account-wide.

Preparer Defined Elections:
Create and add these elections for the open return.
