1065 and 1120 federal Form 8865 Schedule K-1 allocations
Specially allocated amounts for one or more partners may not appear correctly on Form 8865 Schedule K-1 due to a rounding issue.
Modify the proper dollar amounts on the 8865 Schedule K-1 detail workpapers to adjust both print and e-file.
For example, an amount for Foreign Transactions on Form 8865 Schedule K-1, line 16, may not match the special allocations workpaper amount.
To make this adjustment:
- Go to and selectView Detail.
- On theReview Country-by-Country Detailscreen, select the proper country name.
- Override the amounts displayed on theForeign Transactions Basic Informationworkpaper as needed. You can make these overrides on the screens you access using theView Detailbutton.
- Do a full recompute, then print.
