Import tax return data by form name using Tax Return import/export
To import data by form name:
- Go toReturns Processing,Import/Export, and thenImport.
- ForImport Type, selectTax Return Import - Forms.
- Select the account, year, and tax type.
- Upload your file and selectNext.
- Select the form(s) to import and continue.
- Select the locator to import into and thenImport. The import process begins with file validation that checks the header and all data records to determine if any errors exist. If an import file fails validation the file won't be imported. You can check the status of an import usingBatch Status.
