Import Trial Balance data

Currently if you are using the new web Organizer, there is no option to access the Trial Balance. To access Trial Balance follow the steps here.
Open Trial Balance
- Go to the GoSystem RS/Express RS homepage.
- Go toOptions.
- SelectPreferences.
- ForOpen Return Mode - 1065, 1120, selectAsk me how to open (default).
- SelectClassic Organizerwhen asked how to open the file.
- Open a return then go to .
To import Trial Balance data
- Make sure your import file is in Data Interchange Format (.dif) or Excel format (.xls).
- Select aData Sourcein Trial Balance and a template to use. if you don't have a template setup, selectNew.
- Select theSource File Import Type.
- Provide aTemplate Name(make sure there are no spaces) andTemplate Description.
- TheSource File Formatcan stay asAutomatic Detectionor you can manually select a format.
- SelectBrowse.
- Select your file.
- SelectOpen.
- SelectOK.
Mapping the Template
- From theUser Defined Import Templatescreen, select anImport Itemto map.
- Select the correspondingColumnin the file.
- Make sure theImport Starting on Lineis not the row header, but where information begins.
- After you map the appropriate columns, selectImport Now.
- A pop-up message will display toSave this Import Template. Select an option.
- Mark the checkboxes for theImport Itemsyou want to import.noteItems checked and grayed out are mandatory for importing.
- SelectImport.
- SelectOK.
- A pop-up message will displayDo you want to add this File and Format to the Auto Import List?. Select an option.
- SelectDone.
- SelectDoneagain to complete the import.
- CalculateandValidatethe Trial Balance Bridge after anImport.
- To push the imported data into the Organizer, select .
