Form 982 print requirements
To print Form 982, Federal Reduction of Tax Attributes Due to Discharge of Indebtedness (and Section 1082 Basis Adjustment):
- In theTax Forms, selectFederal, then the982 – Reduction of Tax Attrib to Dischafolder.
- Make sure that in Part I,line 1a,1b,1c, or1dis marked.
- Do a full recompute, then print the return.
