Assign an alternate K-1 package filename
The default filename for the K-1 package is Partner Number-Partner Name.pdf. For example, 1-John Doe.pdf.
You can choose to assign an alternative K-1 package filename for each partner.
- Go toOrganizer,Partner Information,Partner by Partner Data,[partner name], and thenPartner Information.
- Find theAlternative K-1 Package Print File Namesection of the screen.
- Enter the filename. The system automatically includes the partner number at the beginning of the filename you enter when creating separate PDF files.noteThis field's optional and has a maximum of 45 characters. These special characters aren't allowed ( / * | ? ). If you use these characters, the PDF file will be created without these special characters included in the filename.
