California Form 3537 print requirements
Filing instructions for California Extension of LLCs, Form 3537, will only be printed when the California extension is paper filed. Otherwise Form 8453-LLC filing instructions are printed instead when e-filing.
- Disable the California extension underOrganizer,States,State E-file, thenEnable/Create Extensionsfolder.
- Go to theExtensions tab,CaliforniarowColumn CEnable. Deselect the checkbox to turn off theCalifornia Extension E-file.
- Go to the foldersOrganizer,States,Common State, andEstimates and Extensions, and again openEstimates and Extensions.
- Go to theCalifornia LLCrow, and select theColumn BReturn on Extensioncheckbox. Full recompute.
- You can make sure California is not suppressed inOrganizer,States,Common State, inside thePrint Suppressionfolder.
- Review theState Formscolumn, and select for theCaliforniacheckbox not to be selected.
- Go to the foldersOrganizer,Letters and Filing Instructions,General Optionsfolder.
- In theSELECT WHICH LETTERS YOU WISH TO PRINT (MANDATORY)section, make a selection to print the filing instructions.
- The filing instructions will print underPrint Previewusing theAll State and City Returnsselection.
- Go toStates, thenCalifornia. Once the print is generated to find the Extension (Paper) instructions for the Form 3537.
note
The 3537 Instructions don’t print when choosing the California LLC as the Print Jurisdiction. It needs to be through All State and Cities.
