To calculate Form 8848 (1120-F), Consent to Extend the Time to Assess the Branch Profits Tax:

In Organizer
, select General Information
, then the Basic Return Information
folder.

On the Entity Information
tab, go to the Return/ Entity type
section.

Select 1120F - Foreign Corporation
for the Return type
.

Go to Tax Forms
and select
Federal
.

Select 8848-Extension to Assess Branch Profits
.

Make sure the checkbox for item A or B is selected.
