To print, calculate, or suppress Schedule INS Tax for Foreign Insurers:
- Go toTax forms, and selectStatesfolder, thenIllinois.
- SelectSelected Options, thenFiling Typetab.
- InIllinoisEntity Typesection, make sure the following options are not marked:
- Top consolidation
- Sub-consolidation
- InOrganizer, selectStatesfolder, thenIllinois.
- SelectGeneralInformationin theGeneral Informationsection.
- Make sureForeigninsureroption is selected.
- InTax forms,selectStatesfolder, thenIllinois.
- SelectSch INS-Tax for Foreign Insurers.
- Make sure that there is an amount on one of the following lines:
- Step 3, line 16.
- Step 3, line 18.
- Also, make sure that the amount onStep3,line 15is less thanline 12.
- Do a full recompute and print the return.
If the form doesn't print, make sure it isn’t suppressed:
- Go toOrganizerand selectStates, thenIllinois.
- SelectReturn Options, inPrint Suppression.
- Make sure the optionSchedule INS/Schedule UB/INS and do not bringcomputedtaxes to Form IL-1120, page 1, part II, line 1 and 2is not selected.
- Do a full recompute, then print.
