Form BUS-EXT Extension Request print requirements

To print Form BUS-EXT, State of Rhode Island Division of Taxation Business Tax Automatic Extension Request:
  1. In Organizer, select
    States
    Common State
    General Information
    Basic Return Information
  2. Select the
    Return Information
     tab, then go to Rhode Island.
  3. In
    Column N
    , select the checkbox
    On Extension
    .
  4. Do a full recompute, then print.
If the form doesn’t print, check if it's suppressed:
  1. In
    Organizer
    , select
    States
    Common State
    Print Options
    .
  2. Select
    Print Suppression
    , then the
    Suppression MD-RI
     tab.
  3. Go to
    Rhode Island
     and clear the checkbox for
    Column Ext
    .
  4. In
    Organizer
    , select
    States
    , then
    State and City Activation
    .
  5. Go to
    Rhode Island
    ,
    Row 50
    ,
    Column F
    , and clear the checkbox for
    Financial Return
    .

Part 1 Line 1

You need to enter an estimated tax amount in Part 1 Line 1 on Rhode Island Form BUS-EXT, but the line isn't populating.
  1. Go to
    Organizer
    State Financial
    Rhode Island Bank
    Overpayment and Estimate Option
    Estimated Tax
    Estimate Option
    .
  2. Select
    Estimate equal to specified amount (enter below)
     and enter the amount.
  3. Go to
    Organizer
    States
    Rhode Island
    Overpayment and Estimate Option
    Estimated Tax
    Estimate Option
    .
  4. Select
    Estimate equal to specified amount (enter below)
     and enter the amount in the
    Estimated tax amount
     field.
  5. Do a full recompute, then print.
