Modify product permissions and assignments
The options you select for administrators determine the type of administrator they are. These options determine the type of tasks the administrator can perform in their system.
There are 6 sections of permissions:
- Full Access
- Company Info
- Assignments
- Product Permissions
- Reference Data
- Setup
Follow these steps to assign permissions.
- Sign in toONESOURCE, then selectAdministration.
- On theUsersscreen, search for the name to assign permissions to.
- SelectEdit.
- SelectProduct Permissions.
- To assign administrator role permissions, selectAdministration, then markFull Access (select all).noteFull Access administrators can assign all permissions for all ONESOURCE applications they have licenses to use.
- In the Company Info section, mark all permissions (View,Add,Edit, orDelete) that apply.
- In the Assignments and Product Permissions section, markEdit (Limited)orEdit (All).
- Edit (Limited)- administrators can view and manage only the clients and products assigned to their own profile.
- Edit (All)- administrations can view and manage all clients and products regardless of the clients assigned to their profile.noteThese settings require a minimum ofView UsersorView Grouppermissions.
- In the Reference Data and Setup section, mark allVieworEditpermissions that apply.
- SelectNext.
- On theProduct Assignmentsscreen, mark all products that the user has permission to view and use.
- SelectDoneto save your changes.
