Import entities

  1. Sign in to ONESOURCE, then select
    Administration
    . 
  2. Select
    Company Info
    , then
    Entities
    .
  3. Select
    Import
     on the toolbar. This opens the
    Import Entities
     wizard
    Step 1 Upload
    .
  4. In the Data Mapping Template section,
    select from an existing template
     or select
    Create a New Template
    . You can also drag and drop the file in the pane on the screen, or
    Browse for file
    .
    note
    • You can only upload *CSV files. If the upload fails, you will get an error message.
    • For multiple versions, you can only update the latest version in the *CSV file. Enter information in the
      Entity Code of last version
       and
      Effective Date/Version Start Date of latest version
       columns.
  5. Select
    Next
    . This opens the
    Step 2 Map & Import
    . The template displays a sample of the data. You can assign columns or edit the existing template.
  6. Enter a template name.
  7. Select the
    Start Row
     number using the up and down arrows.
  8. Select the dropdown buttons on the
    Row
     columns and map the
    Code
    . Mapping the other columns is optional.
  9. Select
    Save
     to save your changes, then select
    Next
     to move to
    Step 3 Validate
    .
  10. Step 3 Validate
     compares the imported information with the existing data and gives the status of the Entities.
    tip
    You can show
    All
     statuses or select
    Only Show Issues
     to view the entities that need to be fixed.
  11. Review and fix any errors from the import.
  12. Select
    Import
    , then select
    Done
    .
