Import entity rollup

  1. Sign in to ONESOURCE, then select
    Administration
    .
  2. Select
    Company Info
    Entities
    Entity Rollup
    .
  3. Select a rollup.
  4. Select
    Import
     to go to the
    Import Rollup
     wizard.
  5. Drag and drop the file on the
    Step 1 Upload
     window, or select
    browse for file
    .
    note
    You can only upload CSV files. If the upload fails, you'll get an error message.
  6. Select
    Next
     to move to
    Step 2 Validate
    .
    Step 2 Validate
     compares the imported information and gives the status of the rollups.
  7. To ensure a successful import, follow these file structure rules:
    1. To define only Code Level 1, enter data only in the Code Level 1 column for that row.
    2. To link Level 2 to Level 1, add a new row with values in both Code Level 1 and Code Level 2 columns.
    3. To link Level 3 to Level 2, add another row with values in Code Level 1, Code Level 2, and Code Level 3 columns.
  8. Ensure the columns in your file follow this sequence:
    1. Code Level 1
    2. Code Level 2
    3. Code Level 3
    4. % Allocated
    5. Version
      note
      If there are any issues, the system won't import the file. The import process doesn't support updates. Importing a file will delete the existing hierarchy and replace it with the rollup hierarchy from the file.
  9. Review and fix any errors from the import.
  10. Finally, select
    Import
    .
