Create a State Factor Reconciliation Chart for State A&A Workpapers
Use the State Factor Reconciliation Chart to map State A&A categories to federal tax return lines.
When you assign this chart to a binder, the system populates the associated State Factor Reconciliation Workpaper with state category and federal tax return data.
Create State Factor Reconciliation Chart
- Go toCharts,State A&A, and thenReconciliation.
- SelectAdd Chart.
- Enter a name for the chart.
- You can copy theDefault Chart of Reconciliationor any other existing chart or accept the system default of None.
- Open the chart.
- The chart has 3 sections: Property, Payroll, and Sales. Select aCategoryand the appropriate Tax Return Line.
- SelectMap.
- When finished assigning categories to tax return lines, selectSave.
Assign a State Factor Reconciliation Chart to a binder
A State Factor Reconciliation Chart must be assigned to a binder for the system to populate the State Factor Reconciliation Workpaper with state category and federal tax return data.
- To assign the chart to a binder, go toBinders Properties.
- SelectState A&A Workpapersand select the chart.

You can also use the Enterprise Control Panel (ECP) to assign this chart to multiple binders in
