Logic Charts for State A&A Workpapers
The system includes a yearly default A&A logic based on state tax law for most corporations. You can create user-defined logic charts to assign A&A calculations to categories and subcategories for each state jurisdiction.
Logic charts are year specific and can be rolled over from year to year.
- Logic charts can be manually entered or imported.
- To use A&A workpapers, binders must have a logic chart assigned to them.
- Logic charts can be individually assigned to binders or assigned through the Enterprise Control Panel (ECP).
- Custom subcategories inherit logic from the default category and can be edited.
- Logic codes are used to determine the impact on workpaper factor calculations.
- Change default logic codes to edit logic charts.

- You can't change the default logic chart.
- If you change a logic chart that's assigned to binders, you must recompute the binders to see the changes.
