This happens when the partner information was entered incorrectly or the partner was mistakenly identified as foreign.

Solution

Correct the Employee ID Number (EIN) entry to ensure it is a 9-digit number, or clarify if the entity should be an Individual instead of a Partnership:
  1. Go to
    Tax Forms
    Federal
    Schedule B-1
    Part I
    Details
    .
  2. In the
    EIN
     column, enter the correct EIN and make sure it's not cut to 8 digits.
  3. If the entity is an individual, go to
    Organizer
    Partner Information
    Partner by Partner Data
    (Partner Name)
    Partner Information
     and update the
    Partner Type
    .
