Error: Attached federal efile status
You get this error when the federal e-file doesn't have a status of qualified, accepted, or awaiting acknowledgement and attempting to e-file the state return.

The attached Federal Efile needs to have one of the following statuses: Qualified, Accepted, or Awaiting Acknowledgement.
Solution
- Go to .
- SelectAttach the federal XML created in another return.
- In columns C, D, and E, enter the information from the locator that has the accepted Federal return.
- Do a full recompute, then recreate the e-file.
