ILFinancial-1100-3 e-file error

This error occurs when the EIN entered for Illinois direct debit doesn't match the Federal EIN on the return.

Error message

Rule Number: ILFinancial-1100-3 Error Message: "FormILFinancial StatePayment/IdentificationNumber must match either FormILHEADER Filer/EIN or FormILESTATETRUSTHEADER Filer/EIN."

Solution

  1. Go to
    Organizer
    States
    Common State
    General Information
    Bank Information
    Direct Debit tab
    .
  2. Enter the EIN for Illinois in Column L.
  3. Make sure the EIN matches the Federal EIN. Review the Federal data at
    Organizer
    General Information
    Basic Return Information
    EIN
    .
  4. Do a full recompute, recreate the e-file, and resubmit the return.
