This validation error occurs when the

EIN or Social Security number is missing or incorrectly formatted on Massachusetts Form 3.Error message

Solution
- Go to , Massachusetts row.
- InColumn J Tax Matters Partner SSN, enter either the EIN or Social Security number. The value has to be exactly 9 digits.
- Do a full recompute, then recreate the e-file.
