E-file diagnostic: MA PTE 63D-ELT no qualified members

MA PTE 63D-ELT: The MA PTE 63D-ELT has been enabled for E-file, but no Qualified Members have been selected under Organizer / States / Massachusetts / PTE 63D-ELT Qualified Members section. Place an X next to Qualified Members and complete the income columns for these partners, ensuring that the total income column total matches the total income amounts listed on pages 1 and 2 of the MA PTE 63D-ELT return Alternatively, the Qualified Members can be included from Organizer / States / Massachusetts / E-file MA 63D-ELT / Attachments / K-1 Aggregation / Summary / Click Attach Qualified Members Aggregation and add file.
This happens when the PTE 63D-ELT has been enabled for e-file, but there are no Qualified members selected to populate the form.
Solution
  1. Go to the
    Organizer
    ,
    States
     folder.
  2. Go to the
    Massachusetts
    ,
    PTE 63D Entity Level Tax
    folder.
  3. Go to the
    Qualified Members of Electing Pass Through Entity
     section.
  4. In this area,
    Enter X to include member on MA 63D-ELT
    on each partner that needs to be included.
  5. Do a full recompute, then recreate the e-file.
