NCBUS-1200 e-file error
NCBUS-1200 - Associated K-1's Received - [NC K-1 Supplemental Schedule - C: D401S/D403/D407] Part A Line 16 must equal the sum of Lines 1 through 15 for Column A (Amount from All Sources) and Column B (Amount of Column A from N.C. Sources).
This happens when you are missing information required by the state. Sch NC K-1 Supp, Page 1 Part A Line 16 must equal the sum of Lines 1 through 15 for Column A (Amount from All Sources) and Column B (Amount of Column A from N.C. Sources).
Solution 1
- Go toOrganizer,States, and theNorth Carolinafolder.
- Select theAdditional K-1 Information, Other Partnershipfolder.
- SelectPartnership Nameor create a[CREATEPARTNERSHIP].
- The K-1 received input for the partnership is missing input amounts for theTotal Additionsline under theAdditionssection, and theTotal Subtractionsline under theSubtractionsection. The application can't automatically calculate these fields. This must be entered manually to match the K-1 received exactly.
- Do a full recompute, and recreate the e-file.

- Go toTax forms,States, and theNorth Carolinafolder.
- Go toSch NC K-1folder.
- Select thePartner Name.
- Go toSch NC K-1 Supp, Page 1tab.
- Go toPart A Line 16 must equal the sum of Lines 1 through 15 for Column A (Amount from All Sources)andColumn B (Amount of Column A from N.C. Sources).
- Do a full recompute, and recreate the e-file.
Solution 3
- Go toOrganizer,States, and theNorth Carolinafolder.
- Select theState Adjustmentsfolder.
- Go to theNonapportionable Net Distributive Partnership Incomesection.
- Enter an explanation in theExplanation of why income is listed is nonapportionable income; rather than apportionable incomearea.
- Do a full recompute, and recreate the e-file.
