Error: F3-3K-1 PartnerSSN

This error occurs when a Wisconsin Form 3K-1 partner is identified as an
Individual
 but the Social Security number is missing or incorrectly formatted, or when a non-individual partner has individual name fields populated.

Error message

F3-3K1 PartnerSSN: Wisconsin Form 3K-1 Partner Information Individual missing PartnerSSN. Please check Partner id is the correct format xxx-xx-xxxx or If Partner Name should be formatted as an Individual.

Solution 1: For non-individual partners with name fields

  1. Go to
    Organizer
    Partner Information
    Partner by Partner Data
    (Partner Name)
    Partner Information
    Reformat Partner Name for State Purpose
     tab.
  2. Press the spacebar through the
    First name
    ,
    Middle initial
    , and
    Last name
     fields to clear them.
  3. Do a full recompute, then recreate the e-file.

Solution 2: If the partner should be an individual

  1. Go to
    Organizer
    Partner Information
    Partner by Partner Data
    (Partner Name)
    Partner Information
    Partner Information
     tab.
  2. Change the entity type to
    Individual
    .
  3. Reformat the ID number to Social Security number format (XXX-XX-XXXX).
  4. Do a full recompute, then recreate the e-file.
note
If you're importing partners, reimport the K-1 with the correct Social Security number format after making corrections to your import file.
