Error: The field ‘OrganizationDt’ with value, data is missing

You get this error when the Organization Date on Form 8858 is missing or is not entered in YYYY-MM-DD format.

Solution

  1. Go to
    Organizer
    Foreign Information
    FDE and FB
    FDE and FB
    [Name]
    General Information
    General Information tab
    Other Section
    .
  2. Enter the
    Country Organized
    ,
    Entity Type
    , and
    Organization Date
    .
    note
    Enter the
    Organization Date
     in YYYY-MM-DD format.
  3. For consolidated returns, enter the Organization Date for each member then reconsolidate.
  4. Do a full recompute, then recreate the e-file.
