E-file diagnostic: XML is created but not qualified

You might get this diagnostic even there are no errors listed on the diagnostics page. This is due to diagnostics in the lower members that need to be cleared.

Error message

XML is created but NOT qualified - Diag need to be cleared.

Solution

The topcon e-file won't qualify until all of the lower member's diagnostics are cleared.
  1. Go to
    Organizer
    Federal E-file
    Status
    Consolidation Detail
    .
  2. Review the list to find which members still have diagnostics that need to be cleared.
  3. Open the locators for those members and clear the diagnostics.
  4. Reconsolidate the topcon locator.
  5. Do a full recompute, then recreate the topcon XML file.
