SB-AL20C-001b e-file error
Rule SB-AL20C-001b: If Net Operating Loss Year End on Schedule B is less than or equal to 12/31/2015, a PDF copy of page 1 of the Alabama corporate income tax return for each applicable year must be attached. Use required filename: Required filename: NOLYYYYAL20CPg1.pdf where YYYY is for the year of the NOL. After attaching the PDF, double-click on this reject diagnostic or navigate to Organizer/States/Alabama/E-file/Attachments/Summary. In the PDF Attachments Included in E-file section, select the box labeled "20C, Schedule B (NOLYYYYAL20CPg1.pdf). (#27/DIAG27)
This happens when Alabama Form 20, Schedule B has NOL years ending on or before 2014 and a PDF attachment should be included for each of those years.
Solution
- Go toOrganizer,States, and selectAlabama.
- In theAlabamafolder, go toE-file,Attachments,Summary, and selectAttach PDF.
- Add the PDF document namedNOLYYYYAL20CPg1.pdfwhere YYYY is for the year of the NOL.
- After attaching the PDF, check the field labeled20C,Schedule B (NOLYYYYAL20CPg1.pdf).
- Do a full recompute and recreate the e-file.
