This happens when a member is missing from the Schedule R-7.

Solution

  1. Go to
    Organizer
    States
    California
    Combined Return Information
    Combined Information
    .
  2. In the section for Schedule R-7 Information, mark
    Electing member is incorporated, organized, qualified, or registered to do business in California
     and/or
    Electing member has property, payroll, or sales in California
    .
  3. In the same section, mark
    Member is the Key Corporation
     for 1 member.
  4. Clear
    Check to exclude this member from Part I, Section A
    .
  5. After selecting options for each member, recompute and recreate the return.
