When creating an e-file for 1120 California Estimates, the process completes but validation doesn't process. This occurs when the
E-file Payment Method
 isn't configured.

Error message

XML electronic filing process is completed. Validation is not processed.

Solution

  1. Go to
    Organizer
    States
    California
    E-file
    Additional Information
    E-file Payment Method
    .
  2. Select
    Use Form 8453 BE(PMT)
    .
  3. Alternatively, you can switch the setting to
    Use Form 8453 BE(PMT)
    .
  4. Do a full recompute, then recreate the e-file.
