Error: The field 'TotalSubtractions' with value, data is missing

Colorado Form 112 Line 13 TotalSubtractions field rejects 0, NONE, or negative amounts during e-file validation. Use spacebar override to blank Lines 9–13.

Solution

Per state e-filing schema, the TotalSubtractions field can't be 0, NONE, or a negative amount. Use spacebar override to blank these lines so they don't transfer to the XML.
  1. Go to
    Tax Forms
    States
    Colorado
    112-Corporation Tax Return
    112, Page 2
    .
  2. Check if
    Lines 9 to 13
    have
    0
    or
    NONE
    in them. If they do, you can either override them here or in Organizer:
    1. To override on the form, use spacebar override on
      Lines 9 to 13
      to make them blank.
    2. To override in Organizer, go to
      Organizer
      States
      Colorado
      State Adjustments
      Subtractions section
      . Then add an override to
      Exempt Federal Interest (Override)
      .
  3. Do a full recompute, then recreate the e-file.
