Solution
This reject occurs when the DC's system doesn't recognize the filer as registered for the tax type being filed. Thomson Reuters can't test for these rejects because we don't have access to the DC database and can't verify if you're fully registered.
- Register your business online with the District of Columbia using the New Business Registration form (FR-500). You must register online—no other registration method is available.
- After you complete registration, recreate the e-file and resubmit your return.
