Error: To e-file Illinois extension, any amount due needs to be paid via ACH debit
When you e-file an Illinois extension with an amount due, you need to provide complete ACH debit payment information. You get this validation message when you haven't entered the required bank information.

Illinois Extension: To e-file Illinois extension, any amount due needs to be paid via ACH debit. You have not completed this information in the Organizer / States / Common State / General Information / Bank Information / Extension - Debit tab.
Solution
Complete these steps to enter the required ACH debit payment information:

- Select.
- Go to .
- Enter all required bank information for ACH debit payment
- Do a full recompute and recreate the e-file.
note
If no extension amount is due, there's no requirement to e-file the Illinois extension return.
