RHS-012-IT20 e-file error
RHS-012-IT20: PreparerUSAddress.AddressLine1Txt cannot exceed 30 characters.
This happens when Indiana Paid Preparer’s address exceeds 30 characters and may have special characters and/or spaces.
Solution
- Go to .
- SelectPaid Preparer Information, thenFirm Information.
- In the Indiana row (18), make sure the entry in theAddressfield for Column F or (foreign or domestic, Column I) is not more than 30 characters (with no spaces or special characters).
- Do a full recompute and recreate the e-file.
