Solution

Your administrator must complete the EFIN Verification on the
Admin
tab to clear this diagnostic.
note
EFINs must be verified for the tax year 2025 and later to e-file business tax returns. This verification has been required for 1040 returns for several years, and was expanded to include other tax types. No action is required for EFINs used in previous years to file 1040 returns as they've already been verified.
