This diagnostic occurs when e-filing a Kentucky 1120 return and the Preparer Signature Date is not populated in the required locations.

1120 Kentucky Electronic Filing: Preparer Signature Date should be defined. The path is as below: Organizer General Information Basic Return Information Return Information tab Signing officer section

Solution

To resolve this diagnostic, enter the signature date in both required locations:
  1. Go to
    Organizer
    States
    Common State
    General Information
    Basic Return Information
    Signature Information
     and enter the signature date in Column L.
  2. Go to
    Organizer
    States
    Common State
    General Information
    Paid Preparer Information
     and enter the signature date in Column H.
  3. Do a full recompute, then recreate the e-file.
