You get one of these errors when you file a combined Nebraska Form 1120N that includes consolidation adjustments on a Form 1120N, Page 1 line item.
Error message
S4-0004: CombinedIncome_GrossProfitAmt line 3, (III), must equal the result of Subtotal_GrossProfitAmt line 3, (I) minus Eliminations_GrossProfitAmt line 3, (II). S4-0008: CombinedIncome_TotIncomeAmt line 11, (III), must equal the result of Subtotal_TotIncomeAmt line 11, (I) minus Eliminations_TotIncomeAmt line 11, (II). S4-0012: CombinedIncome_TotDeductionsAmt line 27, (III), must equal the result of Subtotal_TotDeductionsAmt line 27, (I) minus Eliminations_TotDeductionsAmt line 27, (II). S4-0016: CombinedIncome_TaxIncBeforeAdjAmt line 28, (III), must equal the result of Subtotal_TaxIncBeforeAdjAmt line 28, (I) minus Eliminations_TaxIncBeforeAdjAmt line 28, (II). Solution
- Review Schedule IV to confirm each Combined Income Total equals the Combined Subtotal minus Eliminations for that line.
- Paper file the combined Form 1120N if it includes consolidation adjustments not supported by Nebraska e-file.
