The system expects to have a value in North Carolina Form CD-401S, Page 2 Line 19. It should be the sum of Lines 16, 17 and 18 multiplied by 0.0475 (with the result rounded off to the nearest whole number).
Solution
To populate the correct amount:
- In Organizer, selectStates, thenNorth Carolina.
- SelectTax Computation.
- Look for theSchedule B- Nonresident shareholders ONLYsection.
- Enter the amount in theTotal tax (Override)field.
- Do a full recompute and recreate the e-file.
