502FIN-035 e-file error

* 502FIN-035: You cannot request a future payment date for returns submitted after the original due date. The Payment Date must be blank or the same as the return submitted date. Your payment will be processed within a day or two of processing your return. (Automatic GOTO is not available). Navigation: Organizer/Sates/Common State/General Information/Bank information/ Date Amount to be debited.
This happens when a future payment is requested for returns after the original due date. The payment date must be blank or the same as the return submitted.

Solution

  1. Go to
    Organizer
    States
    Common State
    General Information
    Bank Information
    Direct Debit tab
     for
    Virginia
    .
  2. Enter today's date.
  3. Perform a full recompute and recreate the e-file.
note
You can modify the date to either a different date or the submission date itself by updating the date in the same location on the day they are submitting the e-file.
