This happens when form 502 is being filed and schedule VK-1 Part III, line 10 has an amount.

502VK1-020: If Form 502 is filed, Form 502 Schedule VK-1 Part III, Line 10 (Pass-Through Entity Elective Tax Credit) must not be populated.

Go to Tax Forms
, then the States
folder.

Go to Virginia
, then VK-1 – Owner Income, Deductions, Credit
folder.

Go to the (shareholder name), VK-1 Page 2
folder.

Go to Part III
, then Line 10
.

Remove the amount.

note

If you want to keep the amount on the line you will have to paper file the return. This is a limitation by the state.

Do a full recompute, then recreate the e-file.
