This happens when errors are found in an otherwise qualified XML file, preventing GoSystem Tax from submitting the e-file to the IRS or state.

Solution
- Review the e-file Status Report.
- Follow the procedures listed in the error report to correct the problem.
- If the error report instructs you to do so, contact Thomson Reuters for further assistance.
- Don’t consider the return filed until it has been successfully submitted to the IRS or state.
- Perfection periods don't begin for returns with a status ofError - Not Submitted. They haven't been submitted.
