Check e-file status

Once you have submitted an e-file, you can check the status of the e-file in Income Tax.

Select E-file
on the Income Tax menu bar. The Status screen shows you the status of the submitted file.

Select the return to open the Electronic Filing View Details
for more information about the status of that return.

If return has a Rejected
status, open the Electronic Filing View Details screen.

Go to the Reject Code and select the link for the code to see more income tax information about it.
