Review the e-file XML
Download and review the XML file generated by the system or use the PDF version to verify your e-file content.
After you create an e-file, the application displays the actual XML files generated by the system. You can download the large XML file to your machine to review it.

Alternatively, you can use the PDF the application generates to review the e-file.
To review the XML file:
- Create your e-file.
- In the binder, go to .
- SelectFull XML.
- Select 1 of the following:
- Open: The XML file opens in a separate screen.
- Save: Save it to a location on your desktop to view offline.
noteWe recommend selectingSaveif it's a large XML file. - When you view the XML file, you can identify the data by the surrounding schema element names.
