Integrate Platform chart of accounts with Income Tax

You can manage Platform charts and integrate it with ONESOURCE Income Tax charts. Complete the following steps to configure this integration.
Make sure you have access to both ONESOURCE Administration in Platform and Income Tax. Once you set up the integration, any updates you make in Platform are automatically reflected in Income Tax after you accept the chart.
  1. In Platform, go to
    ONESOURCE Administration
    Accounts
    Summary Chart of Accounts
    .
  2. Select
    Add Chart
    .
  3. Enter a chart name and a start date for the chart.
  4. Select
    Add
    .
  5. Import the accounts into the chart.
  6. Select
    Manage App(s)
    .
  7. Select
    Associate Chart to Income Tax product
    , then select
    Apply
    .
    The chart is now available in Income Tax.
  8. In Income Tax, go to
    Charts
    Accounts and Adjustments
    New Platform Chart of Accounts
    .
  9. Select the tax year from the
    Chart Year
    dropdown.
  10. Select the chart you want to assign in the
    TCC Chart Name
    field.
  11. Select
    Save
    .
    The chart is added to Income Tax for the selected tax year and listed in the
    Chart of Accounts and Adjustments
    tab. The entry indicates that the chart is managed in Platform and displays the Platform chart version.
  12. Open the chart in Income Tax and select the
    Pending Accounts
    tab.
    The pending accounts are listed.
  13. Select
    Export
    to generate an import template file, or prepare your own file to map TRC and TCC codes.
  14. Select
    Import
    to upload the file and assign TRC and TCC codes to each account row.
    important
    Always make the following updates in Platform, not in Income Tax:
    • Chart names
    • New accounts
    • Account descriptions
    All updates made in Platform are automatically reflected in Income Tax once you accept the chart.
