User setup and access

You must have both a license for K-1 aggregator and have the correct permissions to use it in the tax product.

Grant User Rights

  1. Go to
    Admin
    , then
    Access Control
    .
  2. Select the
    User
    .
  3. Select
    Rights
    , then select the
    K1Analyzer
     checkbox.
  4. Select
    Update
    .

Open the K-1 Aggregator

  1. Select the
    K1Analyzer
     on the side navigation.
  2. Tie the data in the K-1 Aggregator to the
    Return ID
     and
    Account Number
     by hovering over one of the instances and selecting the related pencil under Tools.
  3. In the resulting window, go to and enter the
    Return ID
     and the
    Account Number
    .
  4. Select
    Update
    .

Grant user rights

To use the K-1 Aggregator, the K-1 Administrator user must assign user permissions in the K-1 product. This turns on the tile on the ONESOURCE platform.
Select the K-1 Analyzer tile.
note
If you are logged in as the ONESOURCE Administrator, you cannot launch the K-1 Analyzer tile. You must log out as the Administrator and log back on as a user other than the Administrator.
To tie the data in the K-1 Aggregator to the return ID and account number, hover over one of the instances and select the related pencil icon under
Tools
.
Enter the
Return ID
 and
Account Number
.
Select
Update
.
