Rollover international charts using batch processing
- SelectBatch, and thenRollover Charts.
- ForForeign Exchange Rate Charts, select all exchange rate charts used in any binder that's being rolled over.noteThe exchange rate chart assignments aren't permanent and can be changed within binder properties.
- SelectState Categorieschart, and thenRollover. Rollover the state categories before rolling over any other state charts.
- ForFederal Chart of Accounts, if more than 1 federal chart of accounts exists to rollover and more than 1 is linked to the same chart of tax combination codes: select the box(es) for only federal chart(s) of accounts that are linked to each chart of tax combination codes, and then select Rollover.
- Go back toBatch,Rollover, andRollover Chart Status.
- Select the year you're rolling from and check that the chart of accounts successfully rolled over.
- After rolling over 1 federal chart of accounts linked to each chart of tax combination codes or if inly 1 federal chart of accounts exists, or if each federal chart of accounts is linked to a different chart of tax combination codes: select the box next toChart Descriptionto select all remaining charts.
- Open the folders to unselect any charts not to rollover.
- SelectRollover.
- Go toBatch,Rollover, and thenRollover Chart Statusto check that charts successfully rolled over.
- If you're implementing new charts, select the box(es) for only the charts to rollover in addition to the exchange rate charts, and then selectRollover.
- Lastly, go back toBatch,Rollover, andRollover Chart Statusto check the charts successfully rolled over.
