State review workpapers
The State Taxable Income Workpaper system contains several review workpapers and tools to facilitate reconciling differences and understanding data that carries to the return.

Single and multistate review workpaper
These workpapers have a separate column for each activated state and can be imported, exported, and printed.
You can expand the Additions, Subtractions, and Apportioned Income Adjustments sections to see the subcategories. The subcategories display the user-defined account number and descriptions. The system pulls the amounts on each of these lines from the tax system when:
- The state has been activated.
- The subcategory's mapped in the Forms Mapping chart (unless you're an Organizer-only user and haven't entered anything in the data entry worksheets).
Net operating loss (NOL) workpaper
This workpaper's populated with data you entered in each state's Organizer NOL workpapers.
In a single member binder, this list includes the activated states. In a consolidated binder, this list includes states you designated as combined/consolidated in
Organizer

. Selecting a state generates a workpaper which summarizes the NOL, with years for loss carryover generated in rows, and years for loss utilized in columns. The first column of loss data displays the loss carryover remaining at the end of the year.
